Peter ran a successful hire operation for almost twenty years and was a founder member of the BIHA and the NAIH. He served on the NAIH committee for two years but resigned his post when he purchased Inflated News.

Following his purchase of Inflated News he was asked to attend PIPA meetings and he agreed on the understanding that he would remain independent and therefore be able to ask any questions on behalf of any sector of the inflatable play industry.

As the magazine circulation increased it was obvious that there was a need to get breaking news to the masses as quickly as possible. The web site has become an integral part of the magazine and continues to be developed.

There are many plans for the future.

At the time of purchase the magazine had not been seen for over twelve months and at that point had a circulation of around 800. The first issue in March 2005 had a circulation of just under 3000 and the latest edition will be circulated to just under 5500.

The magazine has gone from strength to strength and in August 2009 it was decided to change the name to INPA to reflect the increase in circulation to various sectors within the play industry. INPA is the only UK trade journal to cover the bouncy castle sector.

The circulation list now includes bouncy castle operators, inflatable manufacturers, inflatable testers, Local Authorities, indoor play centres, farm attractions, zoos and attractions and a number of venues and bookers.

The magazine is supported by our web site which carries a wealth of important information for Operators and the general Public. The site is being continually developed and this ‘mark 3’ version is in its infancy. There are many plans to make it more interactive. Watch this space.

The facility of the web site allows us to bring breaking news instantly to the masses. Keep up to date with all developments by visiting the site regularly.

Following the success of Inflated News a number of operators asked the team for more detailed information on various topics. Initially this was achieved through this site in the form of Information Sheets but unfortunately we soon found our information appearing on other web sites and even for sale on Ebay. In June 2007 we came up with The Inflatable Play Enterprise (TIPE) as a subscription service. Following an official launch at LIW in 2007 TIPE has gone from strength to strength and has produced 27 Information  Sheets to date on a variety of relevant subjects.

Full details on TIPE can be found at www.tipe.co.uk

In March 2009 INPA organised its first trade show.INPAS 2009 attracted 38 exhibitors and just over 300 visitors. It turned out to be the largest industry trade show in the UK for 15 years.

INPAS 2010 will be on 16th - 17th March 2010.
